Getting to Know TracPatch Field Specialist, Zac Holman

This month we talked with TracPatch Field Specialist, Zac Holman. With a passion for medical technology, we uncovered what makes Zac unique and what motivates him to work with patients and surgeons each day.

Hometown?

I was born and raised in Cronulla, Australia. It is a small coastal city about 45 minutes south of Sydney.

How long have you been with TracPatch?

I have been working for TracPatch for just over five months.

Briefly describe what a regular day as a TracPatch Field Specialist looks like?

As a Field Specialist, my days consist mostly of patient outreach and placing patients with the TracPatch devices.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite thing about working as a Field Specialist is working with the field team as well as the patients. I also really enjoy the flexibility and being able to be on my feet for work is awesome.

What’s your favorite thing about TracPatch?

My favorite thing about TracPatch is seeing the positive reaction from patients and surgeons when they get to see the data and progress in real-time.

What’s your favorite thing about working in the medical device industry?

My favorite thing about working in the medical device industry is seeing the emerging technologies firsthand.  It’s exciting to be involved with a device like TracPatch that is changing the orthopedic industry in its entirety.

What has been one of your proudest moments working at TracPatch?

One of my proudest moments at TracPatch was meeting the entire field team at our training at headquarters over the summer. It was awesome knowing that I fit in so well with the team.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I like relaxing and spending time with my dog.

What inspires you?

The hardworking traits of my Mum, Dad and brother have always inspired me to be successful in all facets of life.

If you could pick a superpower what would it be?

If I could pick any superpower, I would choose to have the ability to control the elements.
