This month we talked with TracPatch Field Specialist, Walhalla Romero. With a passion for meeting new people and helping others, we uncovered what makes Walhalla unique and what motivates her to work with patients and surgeons each day.

Hometown?

I am born and raised in Orlando, Florida.

How long have you been with TracPatch?

I have been with TracPatch just under seven months.

Briefly describe what a regular day as a TracPatch Field Specialist looks like?

A day as a Field Specialist usually starts with checking my phone to make sure I haven’t missed any texts or calls from my patients during the night. I also check the Healthcare Provider App to see which of my patients have already opened their Patient App and make sure everything is running smoothly for them. Afterward, I check for any emails, review my schedule, pack my supplies and head out to my scheduled appointments. I especially enjoy all the wonderful conversations I get to have with my patients. They often tell me about the great experiences they have had while using TracPatch and I love that I have the ability to provide them with quality care and technology that motivates them throughout their recovery process.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

What’s your favorite thing about working in the medical device industry?

I have always loved working in the medical field. Working with a device like TracPatch is wonderful because it has opened my eyes to the intricacy of post-operative care. I love working in an industry where each professional involved truly cares about the outcome of each patient.

What has been one of your proudest moments working at TracPatch?

My proudest moment working at TracPatch was having the privilege to be a part of the very first meeting we had over the summer and getting to meet the whole team in person.
