This month we talked with TracPatch Field Specialist, Sondra Vujovich who has been with us just over a year. With a passion for medicine and patient care, we uncovered what makes Sondra unique and what motivates her to work with patients and surgeons each day.
Hometown?
I’m from Lincolnwood, Illinois.
How long have you been with TracPatch?
I have been with TracPatch for a year and two months.
Briefly describe what a regular day as a TracPatch Field Specialist looks like?
A regular day includes monitoring current patients involved in the Chicago study. I also spend much of my time communicating with and assisting patients to ensure they are getting the most out of using TracPatch.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite part of this job is seeing people get better and achieve their recovery goals. Knee replacement recovery is not easy, and it can be a long journey. Working as a TracPatch Field Specialist has given me the opportunity to play a part in helping patients get to where they want to be and that truly is the most rewarding part of the job.
What’s your favorite thing about TracPatch?
My favorite thing about TracPatch is how motivational it can be for patients. I also love how it gives physicians an opportunity to stay connected with their patients once they leave the hospital.
What’s your favorite thing about working in the medical device industry?
Medicine and patient care are, and always have been, passions of mine. Experiencing medicine from a medical device perspective has given me an appreciation for all the working parts in a patient’s health and recovery journey.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at TracPatch?
One of my proudest moments working at TracPatch has been being a part of such an amazing team. As specialists, we started from the ground up, but we were able to work through many of the challenges that came at us early on. To see where we are today versus where we were last year makes me incredibly proud.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
What inspires you?
People who help others inspire me. Specifically, medical professionals who dedicate their lives to helping people get better every day.
If you could pick a superpower what would it be?
If I could pick a superpower, I would choose to have healing hands. I would love to have the ability to heal humans and animals.
