Hometown?
I’m from Valliant, Oklahoma.
How long have you been with TracPatch?
I have been with TracPatch for just under six months.
Briefly describe what a regular day as a TracPatch Field Specialist looks like?
A regular day starts with reviewing the TracPatch portal to get an idea of how my patients are doing. I check in with all of them to see if they need anything like help with the app or exercises. I spend most of the week making home visits for initial placements of the TracPatch device and ADP changes. I try to do my best to listen to the patients’ needs and wants and help them use the devices to get the best outcome from physical therapy and a quick return to normal activity.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite part of the job is that it has given me the ability to have personal relationships with my patients. I love learning about them and their lives and making a real connection to be able to help them in the best way possible.
What’s your favorite thing about TracPatch?
My favorite thing about TracPatch is that every patient can monitor their own progress. TracPatch gives them the ability to do more than just schedule office visits with their providers. It allows them to see for themselves how much extension and flexion they are getting throughout the day. My favorite part is watching patients get motivated to do better each day after seeing their progress.
What’s your favorite thing about working in the medical device industry?
My favorite thing about working in the medical device industry is simple. I love helping people. I have been in the medical industry since 2008 and that experience has helped me connect with patients on a more meaningful level.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at TracPatch?
My proudest moment working at TracPatch is when I got into a car accident and almost everyone from the company called, texted, or emailed me to check on how I was doing. It was comforting to know that the company truly cares about every employee.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working most of my free time is spent chasing my 11-month-old around, she is so much fun. I also enjoy spending time on the lake fishing with my family and anything else outdoors that keeps me busy. We are also a Big Oklahoma Sooner loving family so BOOMER SOONER.
What inspires you?
My family inspires me! My husband inspires me because of his amazing work ethic and the love he has for us. My daughter inspires me every day to be the best person I can be. Children have a unique way of loving so big and so hard all the time. It’s something that I try to bring to the world each day as well.
If you could pick a superpower what would it be?
My superpower would be to teleport so I wouldn’t have to drive anymore.
